Architecture Design of Town Center Pavilion

This is idea of David Coleman, pavilion is intended to serve as the gateway to the beach from the town center and an icon for the town. It is set on a bluff 20′ above the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The tower is designed to mark a point along the beach and to provide full accessibility by way of its monumental stair and switchback ramp. It possesses a unique spatial quality that transforms its elemental expression and monumental scale. From the distance, one reads a monolithic form. As one enters the tower, its solidity melts away and is replaced by a feeling of lightness and shade. At night, internal lighting renders the tower’s skin transparent, causing a radical transition in its formal dynamic as day turns to night and night to day. (more…)

This work is an idea of Flansburgh Architects, this building was designed as a home along the winding road, because he wanted to respect the surrounding neighborhoods. This project is the work of an architect named Robert Harvey Oshatz. Spec is a house built in a ski resort community by two brothers who happened to have a handyman truckload of red-sided timber. This building consists of three floors, with two garages on every floor entrance, at the middle level in use for two master bedroom suites are separated by a fireplace and whirlpool, family community, room, kitchen, located on the middle floor.

The project is a simple form of creativity in the process capable of producing a display of simple home and remains attractive. Collaboration between simple forms with patches of natural stone, is able to present a comfortable atmosphere. The idea of this house, in a clearing in the Connecticut countryside, three simple shingled volumes are casually grouped to form composition that is evocative of a traditional New England Farmhouse.
