This is a idea to design a part at the entrance of Norway coming from Sweden. This park will be one of the first places travelers will stop when entering Norwayand created by Saunders Architecture. The park is surrounded by a long wall composed of cortain stell on the outside and wood on the inside surface. The wall encompasses a 2000 m2 space, making it into a quiet park. The continues to the surround the park and then rises 30 m in the air to form a tower. The tower is just a simple stair. On top one will be able to see the Oslo fjord (more…)

Madrona of Sally Goldmark Library, Seattle, WA

It is an idea of Heliotrope Architects, his project to try the renovation of the Madrona Branch of the Seattle Public Library was conducted under the “Libraries for All” building program, the largest and most comprehensive library initiative in our country’s history. The branch is located across the street from an elementary school and primarily houses a children’s collection of books and resources. The renovation included a complete re-do of the interior layout and finishes, a new entry and awning, new signage, and structural, mechanical and electrical upgrades. This project created by Lundgaard & Tranberg. Belle Colle Park is located in Rungsted in an attractive residential area distinguished by fine older villas in bucolic surroundings. Mature vegetation characterizes the rolling site, with beautiful solitary trees and bushes as well as more forest-like groupings. The project consists of nine two-storey duplexes, placed along a curving access road on the north side of the park, so that all the units have views over the untouched landscape to the southeast. The architectural expression of calm masonry facades and overhanging zink roofs is refined and quiet, deferring to the larger landscape motive. (more…)

It is a cutting-edge residential building, 257 Belleville responds to its harbour-side site, reflecting the contemporary lifestyle needs of urban Victoria residents. The high profile and spacious site allows viewing from all sides. The iconic, prismatic form was developed by balancing sun / shadow and view considerations. The penthouse is clad in fritted glass and lit from within to form a beacon, thus creating a distinctive form on the waterfront skyline at the entrance to the inner Victoria harbour. (more…)

The rear garden of a traditional brick and clapboard home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. The new structure houses consist of several room such as a state-of-the-art screening room, projection booth, lounge, and bar on the first floor.
